Zeon shakes his head, "It's quite unbelievable. I was trying to do some parkour in a forest, I was jumping around the trees, and I didn't hear it. The tree branch snapped and I went flying. Out of instinct and reflex from my training, I held my hands out in front of me and closed my eyes. Then I realized, I stopped falling, it was almost as if I was toying with gravity and I was making the wind hold the tree branch up. I tried to do it again but it hasn't happened, not on command at least."

Kaden nods, rubbing his hands together and processing this information. He nods, "It'd be a bit unfair if I said I didn't believe you. You just saw me shoot fireballs out of my hands." He says, looking down. There's a long pause before he looks back up at Zeon. "You know...I'm not really sure I can sleep in this state."

"Ow..." Serilda felt a bit of pain by being dropped on the ground, but she'll manage. She sighed, trying to make out what the heck those two are saying to each other.

Zeon nods, "That's completely understandable. The rain has died down, would you like to go for a walk?" Zeon gives him an insecure smile. He walks over to the shield on the ground and picks it up, "I'll put the shield in the closet."

"No, no. Let's take it with us." He says, standing up and gently putting a hand over top of his and taking the shield. "Incase we need to use it." He says, trying to make it sound like a joke but in reality he wasn't so sure. "And yes." Kaden smirks looking at him. "I'd love to go for a walk."

Zeon grins and hands Kaden the shield. The anxious energy coming flowing through Kaden. Zeon grabs another leather jacket from his closet and pulls it on. "I guess you can never be too careful. Are you ready to go?"

“Ready as I’ll ever be.” He says to him, running a hand through his damp hair. “That’s a nice jacket, where’d you get it?” He asks him, holding the door open.

Zeon hesitates, "I got it from a friend." Zeon closes the door behind them and shoves his hand into the jacket. "Tell me more about yourself."

“Well...” He thinks for a moment. “My father left when I was real young. Maybe around 2 or 3. So it’s always been just me and my mum growing up together. On Sunday’s she’d always make me go to church bright and early. She was a tailor.”

Zeon nods, trying to encourage Kaden to continue.

“I went to a private school, by chuch teachings, until I was in my fifth year. Finally I convinced Mum to enroll me into public. It was, rather exhausting. But nice.” He says. “What about you?”

"Well, I never went to a private school, or rather any school. My parents left me when I was young, but fortunately, someone else took care of me. I learned hunting from the townsfolk and learned to move and jump around quickly." Zeon hesitates, "How's your mom?"

"It killed her." Kaden looks away, clenching his fists.

Zeon shakes his head, "I'm sorry to hear."

"It hasn't really sunk in yet." He shivers. "Thank you, though." He looks around at the environment. "I don't really do all the cool, jumping around stuff." He says to Zeon. "I uh...don't fight much either."

Serilda shivered from the cold. It just rained, so it was quite cool outside. Her shield form would shiver from time to time since she felt cold.

Kaden stops once, and holds the shield out. "What the fuck?" He whispers. "Dude I swear this just...quivered."

Zeon gives him a confused look, "Quivered?"

"It...shook." Kaden shakes the shield. "The metal doesn't seem flimsy."

"That's because I'm not just a shield, you idiot..." She muttered to herself.

Zeon let out a laugh. "Are you sure you're not hallucinating?" He asks jokingly. He gives Kaden, what he hopes, a reassuring smile. "The shield is definitely not flimsy, maybe your hand is shaking?"

Kaden drops the shield and high pitched screams, he kicks it away. "Dude! It talked! It fucking talked!" He picks up a rock and throws it at the shield, missing completely.

Zeon's eyes go wide and he immediately jumps between Kaden and the shield. He puts his hands up, trying to stop Kaden. "Hey, hey! It's probably just the townsfolk." With his hands still up, he lowers himself, and uses his right hand to try to pick up the shield.

She flinched from the pain of being dropped. She sees a hand reaching for her, but she rolls over to the side to avoid it.
